South Wellington Smallbore Rifle Club is one of the oldest target shooting clubs in Wellington and an affiliated member of Wellington Smallbore Rifle Association.

Our regular club night is on Thursday every week between March till early November, from 7 pm onwards at Royal Tiger Range in Berhampore, Wellington.

Visitors and casual shooters are always welcome with open arms, but booking is essential for a first time shooter for safety and regulation purpose.

Target shooting is arguably one of the cheapest entertainments available in Wellington - perhaps cheaper than having a pint of craft beer! It is about precision, calmness and self control.
Some even compares this sport with Yoga or Zen meditation, and yet it is exciting and fun.

You do not need previous experience to have a go at the target range. All the necessary gear and instructions are given at the club. So come and have a go at shooting with us on a Thursday evening.
